For GET requests, the proxy server drops the existing connection and will automatically re-establish another connection for any GET requests in progress over that connection.
For POST requests, the proxy server drops the existing connection and will automatically re-establish another connection if there were any GET requests.
In both cases, at best there will be a performance degradation for other existing user transactions over that same connection. At worst, there could be errors for legitimate users that are attempting a POST at the time.
For these reasons we do not recommend this action be taken unless absolutely necessary.
